Your Privacy

At Fisher Educational Ltd, we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our visitors to our web site and subscribers to our newsletters. In particular, we want you to know that Fisher Educational Ltd is not in the business of selling, renting or trading email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes. Here you’ll find information on how we treat data that we collect from visitors to our website, or when someone subscribes to our newsletter.

Collection and Use of Personal Information

Personal information means any information that may be used to identify you, such as, your name, title or email address. In general, you can browse our web site without giving us any personal information.

Website use

There are additional activities on our site that require you to be registered. For example, to use our products or to receive our newsletter and enter some of our competitions. As part of the registration process, we collect personal information. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to tell you about things you've asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you're happy and satisfied.

Contact with You

We don't rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.

We use our own in-house email tool and web-service to send you emails. We also use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver the occasional newsletter. MailChimp can gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice.

Occasionally we may ask you to take part in a survey using SurveyMonkey. Participation in surveys is voluntary, and you are under no obligation to reply to any survey you might receive from us. We use surveys to try to improve our service to you by finding out what you want and how we can improve. For more information, please see Survey Monkey’s privacy notice.

You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails. You can unsubscribe from your User Area on the website or by emailing info@boffinsquad.co.uk.

For subscribers on the website and customers taking trials of our products we will send automated, sporadic emails on how to get the best from the system and reminders when a subscription is or has expired.

Email a Friend

We may from time to time operate a "Tell a friend" service. This is a referral service, designed to make it easy for customers to recommend our website or offers to a friend, and is a two-step process. First, you send us the friend's name and email address, and secondly, we contact the friend, telling them who we are, and inviting them to take advantage of a particular offer, or to visit our website. When we contact your friend, we always advise them of your name and email address (so they recognise the offer as genuine) as you made the referral. We will not use your friend's details for any other purpose.

Children and Privacy

If you're aged 13 or under, you cannot register on our site.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to analyse traffic to this web site in order to understand our visitors' needs and to continually improve our site for them. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. For example, we do not tie a specific visit to a specific IP address.
